How paid access works

Each paid plan is a monthly subscription paid through PayPal. Subscribe opens PayPal checkout for that plan; after you approve it, you come back to this page while the code is emailed. The email comes from DepoScript ([email protected]): the first payment brings your page code, and each renewal tops up the same code. Replies to that email go to [email protected].

The code is counted in pages: Pro puts 9,000 pages on it each month (60 transcripts × up to 150 pages) and Firm puts 37,500 (250 × 150). Enter the code once, in the box below or in the converter on the home page, and it stays in that browser; the link in the email does this for you. The code is spent only when the free allowance cannot cover a file: a file over 10 pages, or a second file in a day. A file of up to 150 pages then converts in full. Pages you do not use roll over and never expire, and cancelling keeps the pages already paid for.

If the email has not arrived after a few minutes, look in your spam folder, then write to [email protected].

What the plans count

A transcript is one PDF converted once, and the file limit is the number of pages in the PDF you upload. On a paid plan the allowance lands on a page code and is counted in pages, 150 for each transcript in the plan: Pro's 60 transcripts are 9,000 pages a month and Firm's 250 are 37,500. A file the free allowance cannot cover is drawn from those pages. Changing the output format or an option after conversion re-formats the text in your browser and uses no further allowance.

A seat is a browser with the code entered. The same code can be entered in several browsers, and every conversion from any of them draws on the same balance. Firm's 5 seats are the team that shares one code; Pro is meant for one person.

Every plan gets the same Markdown, the same Turns and Checks JSON, and the same cite builder. None of it is held back for a higher plan.

Long transcripts

A 300-page transcript is over the current 150-page file limit. Split the PDF into parts of 150 pages or fewer and convert each part. Page numbers are read from the printed pages, so cites keep the transcript's own numbering; if a part prints no page numbers, set the first page number under Options.

Billing

Press Subscribe on the plan you want. It opens PayPal checkout for that plan, and each plan is a monthly subscription. After you approve it, you come back to this page and your page code is emailed to you from [email protected]. No account is made here. If checkout cannot be started, this page says so, and you can subscribe by email to [email protected] instead.

Questions about a bill, a receipt or cancelling go to [email protected]. Cancelling stops future payments; the pages already on your code stay there and never expire. The terms for paid plans are in the terms of use.

Questions

What do I get for free?

Free: 1 file per day, up to 10 pages, no account. You get the same outputs as a paid plan: the Markdown, the Turns and Checks JSON, and the cite builder.

What is the difference between the plans?

Volume and file size, not features. Free is one small file a day. Pro is 60 transcripts a month, files up to 150 pages, for one person. Firm is 5 seats sharing 250 transcripts a month, files up to 150 pages. Every plan gets the same Markdown, JSON and cite builder.

What counts as a transcript?

One transcript PDF converted once. On a paid plan the allowance is counted in pages, 150 for each transcript: Pro's 60 transcripts a month are 9,000 pages on your page code, and Firm's 250 are 37,500. Changing the output format or an option afterwards re-formats the text in your browser and is not a second conversion.

My transcript is 300 pages.

A 300-page transcript is over the current 150-page file limit. Split the PDF into parts of 150 pages or fewer and convert each part. Page numbers are read from the printed pages, so cites keep the transcript's own numbering; if a part prints no page numbers, set the first page number under Options.

How do I subscribe?

Press Subscribe on the plan you want. It opens PayPal checkout for that plan, and each plan is a monthly subscription. After you approve it, you come back to this page and your page code is emailed to you from [email protected]. No account is made here. If checkout cannot be started, this page says so, and you can subscribe by email to [email protected] instead.

Do I need an account?

No, on any plan. The free allowance needs none, and a paid plan is a page code that comes by email after payment: enter it once and it stays in that browser.

Can a team share one plan?

Firm is built for that: 5 seats sharing 250 transcripts a month. The team gets one page code. Each person enters it once in their own browser, and every conversion from any of those browsers draws on the same balance. Pro is for one person.

Do unused pages expire?

No. Pages you do not use in a month stay on the code, each renewal adds the next month's pages on top, and nothing expires. If you cancel, the pages already paid for stay on the code too.

I paid, but no email has come.

Allow a few minutes and look in your spam folder: the email comes from DepoScript at [email protected]. If it is still missing, write to [email protected].

How is the free allowance counted?

Per device, not per person or per firm, and without an account. The page keeps a random identifier in your browser to do it. See the privacy policy.

What happens when I reach a limit?

When an allowance is used up, the converter answers with a message that says so, and the page shows that message as it was sent. Nothing is converted and no sample output is put in its place. On a paid plan the limit is the pages left on your code: when they run out, the message says so, and the next renewal tops the code up. A file longer than the page cap is different: its first pages are converted, and a notice above the result says how many.

Do paid plans change what happens to my transcript?

No. Every plan is handled the same way: processed in memory and deleted after conversion, with no training on uploads. The privacy policy has the details and the list of sub-processors.

How do I ask about a bill or cancel?

Write to [email protected]. Cancelling stops future payments and keeps the pages already on your code.
